Legion to hold tryouts May 19-20

MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield American Legion baseball program will hold tryouts for the upcoming season at Jack Hackman Field in Marshfield, May 19-20.
Tryouts run from 9 a.m. – noon on Saturday and 5-7 p.m. on Sunday. Players should bring baseball equipment such as gloves, spikes, and baseball attire. Players should also have registration material and the player fee.
Hopefuls can also mail materials to Legion Baseball at P.O. Box 416, Marshfield, WI, 54449. Registration material and other information can be found at www.marshfieldlegionbaseball.com.
The Marshfield Senior Legion opens its schedule at Plover June 8, and is scheduled to play its first home game at Hackman Field June 18 versus Merrill. The Junior Legion starts its season at Wisconsin Rapids on June 5, and will open its home schedule with a doubleheader against Plover June 8 at Hackman Field in Marshfield.
