Pittsville – On May 2, staff members of the Pittsville School District walked from Pittsville Elementary to Marshfield in an effort to raise money to improve the schools guided reading library.
The staff collected pledges for the 6-hour, 20-mile trek to help purchase new books for the program, to be used by individual students or small groups to teach reading skills at various levels.
