NEILLSVILLE – Rabies is a highly infectious, deadly disease which presents a serious threat to domestic pets and to humans, if bitten by an infected animal. Prevention of rabies in cats and dogs is possible by having your pet periodically vaccinated against rabies as required by state law.
The Clark County Humane Society (CCHS) is sponsoring a vaccination clinic on May 12. The clinic will be held at the Clark County Fairgrounds in Neillsville from noon- 2 p.m. In addition to the rabies vaccine, DHLPP and CVRC (distemper) will be offered for dogs and cats.
Microchipping will also be available at the clinic.
All proceeds will benefit the animals at the CCHS. No appointment is necessary. Please bring your pet on a leash or in a carrier. Remember to bring your pet’s previous vaccination records.
For more information, call CCHS at 715-743-4550.
