Stratford man charged with seventh OWI

MARSHFIELD – James S. Glenn, 46, of Stratford was charged in Marathon County Court with a felony count of operating while intoxicated (OWI)—his seventh OWI since 1994.
On March 24 at 9:45 p.m., Glenn was located sitting in the passenger seat of a ditched vehicle. According to court records, Glenn claimed that another individual was driving and went to seek assistance.
Authorities say that they were unable to locate any others in the vicinity and that there were no reports in the area of anyone needing help.
Glenn was charged March 26 with seventh offense OWI, a class F felony. He was also given a misdemeanor charge of operating while revoked.
Glenn has prior convictions in Wisconsin, New York, and Illinois.
