James P. Hennes, 59, Marshfield, passed away on Monday, March 26, 2018 at Marshfield Medical Center.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Marshfield, with Rev. Savarimuthu Selvaraj and Deacon Ray Draeger officiating. The visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Monday at Rembs Funeral Home and from 9:30 am until service time on Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family.

James was born on July 30, 1958 in Marshfield, to Edwin and Agnes (Werner) Hennes and was a graduate of Marshfield Senior High School.

Jim had been employed at Wick Building Systems in Marshfield for over 20 years. He then worked at Pick-`n-Save in Marshfield, until the present time. He enjoyed deer hunting with his sons. Jim was very hard working and willing to help anyone in need. He put others first before himself.

Jim is survived by his children, Joseph (Ashley) Thimmesch of Marshfield, Sarah (Dan) Berkovitz of St. Paul, MN, Patrick Hennes of Marshfield, Matthew Hennes of Marshfield, and twins, James Hennes of Marshfield and Joshua Hennes of Menomonie. He is also survived by his siblings, Julie (William) Zinsli Jr. of Menomonie, John (Joy) Hennes of DePere, Robert Hennes and Chuck Hennes, both of Marshfield, Mary (Keith) Bass of Granton, and William (Linda) Hennes of Marshfield.

He was predeceased by his parents.
