March 19

Box of checks stolen from Marshfield man

A 34-year-old Marshfield man reported that, sometime between March 5-16, a box of checks were stolen and used to make purchases in the La Crosse area. The man listed several possible suspects. The investigation is ongoing.

March 20

Car damaged at Marshfield Mall

A 20-year-old Pittsville woman reported that sometime between 11:30 a.m. – 6 p.m., while parked at her workplace at the Marshfield Mall, her vehicle was damaged, leaving a long scratch and dent along the rear left door and quarter panel. There are no suspects at this time.

Another incident of panhandling reported

At 8:13 p.m., an anonymous individual reported that a man was asking for money near the entrance of the Marshfield Mall. Marshfield officers located the man, who stated that he was asking for money, because he could not afford toilet paper.

March 23

Ex-girlfriend warned for harassment

At 7:01 p.m., a 41-year-old Marshfield man reported that his ex-girlfriend drove by his West Veterans Parkway residence multiple times and yelled derogatory remarks at him. Contact was made with the ex-girlfriend, who claimed not to drive by the residence, but was caught in a lie. The ex-girlfriend was warned for obstruction and harassment.

March 24

Traffic stop results in drug charges

At 7:34 p.m., Marshfield officers conducted a traffic stop. During the stop, K-9 Steffi indicated the odor of a controlled substance. A 48-year-old Marshfield man was arrested for possession of THC and drug paraphernalia. A 19-year-old Marshfield man was arrested for possession of THC. Both had prior drug convictions and were transported to Wood County Jail. Charges are being requested through the Wood County District Attorney’s office.

March 25

Marshfield woman is harassed by Marshfield man

A 51-year-old Marshfield woman reported that between March 23-25, she received harassing and threatening messages from a 54-year-old Marshfield man. The woman sent a message asking that he not contact her anymore. Officers are attempting to contact the man.

Marshfield woman reports damage to exterior door

A 41-year-old Marshfield woman reported damage to the molding on the entry door of her South Peach Avenue home, which occurred sometime between 8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. The downstairs tenants were questioned and the investigation continues.

Marshfield man names possible suspect in defacing incident

At 6:23 p.m., a 39-year-old Marshfield man reported that sometime between March 24-25, while parked on the 100 block of East Blodgett Street, his vehicle was subject to two scratches on the passenger side of the automobile. The man gave the name of one possible suspect.

Marshfield couple arrested for disorderly conduct

At 10:40 p.m., Marshfield police were at a West Kalsched Street home on an unrelated complaint and heard yelling coming from an apartment. A 21-year-old Marshfield man and a 20-year-old Marshfield woman were arrested for disorderly conduct-domestic. The woman had an open Wood County Court case. Charges are being requested for the woman on bail jumping. Both were on probation. A probation hold was placed on the female.

March 26

Woman arrested on drug charges following stop

At 8:14 p.m., Marshfield officers conducted a traffic stop on the 600 block of West Sixth Street. An odor of THC was coming from the vehicle and a search was conducted. A 29-year-old woman was arrested for possession of THC and drug paraphernalia. She was booked and released. Charges are being requested through the Wood County District Attorney’s office.
