ARTi Gras kicks off March 8

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – The fifth annual ARTi Gras festival of the arts kicks off March 8, in Wisconsin Rapids, and continues through March 17 in eight communities across central Wisconsin.
Marshfield will host several events, including a concert by rising American classical composer, William C. White, at New Visions Gallery on March 16 at noon.
The Chestnut Center for the Arts will host an upscale recycling workshop on March 10 at 9 a.m. and a High Tea at 1 p.m.
The UW-Marshfield/Wood County theater will provide an acting workshop for high schoolers and adults, led by the Tooth+Nail Company, on March 11 at 1 p.m., followed by a presentation of the one-man play “Clarence Darrow.”
