MARSHFIELD – The Central Wisconsin State Fair (CWSF) is currently seeking applications for the 2018 Fairest of the Fair and 2018 Junior Fairest of the Fair. These positions help promote the CWSF during their year-long reign, through radio interviews and public appearances in Wood County.

Applicants should demonstrate maturity, professionalism, strong public speaking ability, heavy involvement in clubs or community activities, and a passion for the fair industry. He or she must be a resident of Wood County, or must have done a majority of their fair or school activities in Wood County.

The individual named Fairest of the Fair will be awarded a $1000 scholarship, and the runner-up will receive a $200 scholarship.
