Ballroom dance, history, art CE classes offered at UW

MARSHFIELD – The UW-Marshfield/Wood County Continuing Education department has a new line-up of classes for March.
Multiple classes for ballroom dance are being offered for dancers of every level and both singles and doubles are welcome. Classes meet on Mondays, March 5 – April 2. Instructors, Dave and Karen Goggin, have over 30 years of combined professional teaching experience in ballroom and Latin dancing.
Join history Professor Jeff Kleiman for a two-night lecture on some of history’s most famous leaders: Abraham Lincoln and Adolf Hitler. While polar opposites, these world-changing figures shared a number of common issues. Learn all about Abe and Adolf at the lecture March 6 and 13, 6-7:30 p.m.
Create a beautiful masterpiece, “Cardinal on a Berry Branch,” with step-by-step instruction in the next Canvas & Corks class March 15, 6-8:30 p.m. Class includes all supplies and two glasses of wine.
