MARSHFIELD – First Presbyterian Church has a newly installed pastor, the Rev. Dr. Laurie Brubaker Davis.

Davis comes from Westminster Presbyterian Church in Dayton, OH, where she served as Associate Pastor for Spiritual Growth for 10 years.

She recently completed her doctoral research project, “Listening to the Moment:  Where Young Adults are Finding Church.”

Pastor Laurie is leading a series of Lenten Supper Study Services, “Rays of Light: Whom Jesus Says He Is,” which will include an acoustic Taize band of experienced and novice musicians.  This series begins February 21 at 5:15 pm and occurs every Wednesday throughout the season of Lent.  It is intergenerational by design; all are invited.

Pastor Laurie and her husband, Bob, have two grown daughters.  She and her husband enjoy running, reading, hiking, and biking and are looking forward to exploring Wisconsin, as well as welcoming their first grandchild this spring.
