Adeline E. Aronson, 98, Stratford, passed away on Friday, February 16, 2018 at Shepherd’s Inn Assisted Living, Seymour, Wisconsin.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, March Rapids, with Rev. Philip Wilde officiating. Burial will take place in the church cemetery. The visitation will be on Monday from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Sauter / Rembs Funeral Home, Stratford and on Tuesday from 12:30 pm until service time at Emmanuel Lutheran Church.

Adeline was born on May 27, 1919 in Rib Mountain, to Joseph and Teresia (Schaeffler) Goebel. She married Charles E. Motts and he died in 1957. She later married Peter Jost and he died in 1971. She then married Lloyd Aronson on October 25, 1973 and he died on August 7, 2009.

Adeline played accordion and enjoyed card playing.

She is survived by her daughters, Norma McMillen of Antigo and Rose Hopkins of Black Creek and stepchildren, Pete (Patricia) Aronson of Michigan, Lloyd (Karen) Aronson of Arizona and Ila Ziehm-Maxwell of Michigan. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Mark (Sue) Augustyn of Chadler, AZ, Joe (Lois) Augustyn and Peter (Pam) Augustyn, all of Antigo, Susan (Steve) Reimer of Grandberry, TX, Michelle Matuszak of Black Creek and Todd (Kim) Hopkins of Seymour. She is further survived by 27 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, 2 grandsons and 8 brothers and sisters.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be designated in Adeline’s name to Emmanuel Lutheran Church. Condolences may be sent online to www.rembsfh.com
