Career day educates students on local trade jobs

MARSHFIELD — Approximately 150 area high school students participated in the Central Wisconsin Construction High School Career Day, held Feb. 13 at Staab Construction.
The annual event, coordinated by Dan Neve of Staab Construction, provides an opportunity for young men and women to learn about area trade careers, as well as youth apprenticeship programs.
Multiple local companies participated in the event, covering jobs in heating and air conditioning, electrical, carpentry, equipment operation, plumbing, welding, and more.
Associated General Contractors, Associated Builders & Contractors, Mid-State, and MACCI also participated in the event.
