MARSHFIELD – Marshfield area residents are encouraged to attend the third annual Local Food Expo presented by Marshfield Clinic Health System and Healthy Lifestyles-Marshfield Area Coalition.

The expo will be 3:30-6:30 p.m. March 15, at First Presbyterian Church, 200 S. Lincoln Ave., Marshfield.

The Local Food Expo is an educational event that allows Marshfield area farmers and food vendors to showcase their products to the community. The expo gives community members the chance to meet local farmers and learn of the many health, environmental, and economic benefits of purchasing local food.

The Wisconsin Potato and Vegetable Grower’s Spudmobile exhibit will be on display. Attendees will have the opportunity to purchase meals with locally sourced ingredients from Chef C’s Munchie Mobile and sign up for summer produce through Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) shares.
