Mid-State to offer career spotlight

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Mid-State Technical College will host a Spotlight on Health Careers at its Marshfield campus on Feb.28, 5-7 p.m. The open-house style event is free and open to high school students, their parents, and community members.
The event includes updates on Mid-State’s health programs, information about Dual Credit opportunities, and a meet-and-greet with faculty. Participants will also be able to explore hands-on demo stations of Mid-State’s health programs, including EMT, Nursing, Nursing Assistant, Respiratory Therapist, Medical Assistant, Central Service Technician, Surgical Technologist, and Phlebotomy Technician as well as the new Medical Lab Technician program, starting fall 2018.
