Dear editor,

I am writing to endorse mayoral candidate, Rebecca Spiros for mayor of Marshfield. Having previously worked in the health care industry with Councilwoman Spiros, I find her to be an exceptionally talented, hard-working, and visionary professional that is dedicated to serving those who are vulnerable in our community. She has keen assessment skills and develops strategic initiatives to improve outcomes, especially for those who are underserved in our community. She truly wants to improve the Marshfield community.

Councilwoman Spiros currently serves on local boards and commissions, further demonstrating her willingness to serve our community and improve the lives of those in need. Currently, I serve on the board of directors of the Hannah Center with Rebecca. The Hannah Center serves women in crisis and their children.

She serves The Hannah Center with great interest and compassion. I am most impressed with her problem-solving abilities and how she uses her resources to meet the needs of the Hannah Center. I can say without reservation that Rebecca will help our board move The Hannah Center to new levels, thereby improving the Marshfield community.

It has often been said that a community can be measured by the compassion it shows to its most vulnerable members. With Rebecca Spiros as mayor, I have no doubt that Marshfield will be lead by a compassionate, talented, and transformational leader.

Sincerely,
Sue Church, RN, MSN, MBA
President, Board of Directors of The Hannah Center
Marshfield, WI
