MARSHFIELD – A 30-year-old Stratford woman has died in a snowmobile crash. The accident occurred the morning of Feb. 4, when Ashley A. Moore struck a tree snowmobiling just west of County Hwy M, on a trail near Stratford.  She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Moore was a wife and mother of two. She was a co-owner of Trimpac, a Marshfield-based business which recently relocated to Stratford.

The Wisconsin DNR said it has been more than a decade since someone has died in a Marathon County snowmobile crash.

The cause of Moore’s crash remains under investigation.

Funeral services for Moore will be held Jan. 8 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Stratford. A full obituary is available at hubcitytimes.com.
