MARSHFIELD – Has an aging property in your neighborhood become the shining star of the block? Are you aware of someone who has done such a great job restoring or maintaining their property that they should be recognized? The Marshfield Historic Preservation Committee would like your help in identifying candidates for the 2018 Stewardship Awards Program.

To promote public awareness of preservation and restoration, the committee will present awards to property owners who have shown exemplary stewardship in historic preservation through renovation and upkeep of their property.

Any property 50 years or older, or any individual or business that is involved in historic education and promotion in the community, is eligible. Awards will be announced and presented annually or bi-annually in conjunction with Historic Preservation Month or a Common Council meeting.

To submit a nomination, go to www.ci.marshfield.wi.us/businesses/historic_preservation/stewardship_award_program.php, print out the Nomination Form, and mail your completed nomination to: Historic Preservation Committee, City of Marshfield, 630 S Central Ave, Suite 602, Marshfield, WI  54449 or email to josh.miller@ci.marshfield.wi.us. Forms are also available at City Hall Plaza, 6th Floor, Development Services Department.

For more information, contact Josh Miller, city planner, by email or call 715-486-2075.
