Marshfield Clinic to host free Vein Screening Day

MARSHFIELD – Do you have bulging or discolored veins in your legs just below the surface of the skin? They may be varicose or spider veins, which can be painful and uncomfortable, or perhaps you simply don’t like the way they look.
Treatments are available, but the first step is a screening. This is why Marshfield Clinic, 1000 N. Oak, Ave., will host their Vein Screening Day Feb. 14.
Up to 48 people, ages 25 and older, may be accommodated for vein screenings from 8 a.m. – noon in the Clinic’s Vascular Laboratory Department.
The free screening will take about 15 minutes and uses simple, non-invasive ultrasound techniques. Appointments are necessary. To make an appointment call 715-387-5554 or 800-782-8581 ext. 7-5554. Walk-in appointments will not be available.
