Georgia Coffren, born September 13, 1943, of Marshfield, died January 19, 2018 at the Marshfield Medical Center surrounded by her family. She and her brother Howard Turner (Cathleen) were born and raised in Waukesha, Wisconsin to the late James and Adeline (Rollo) Turner. She married the love of her life, Richard Coffren, August 29, 1963 in Washington D.C where they began their life together. Rich and Georgia had 4 children: Rich (Patti), Jim (Dawn), Carrie (Jim Harwell), and Charlie (Patti), 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Georgia worked in many jobs, her last being the manager of Pet Grooming Center, Marshfield for 10 years.

Georgia loved playing cards and games. She loved a good deal. She loved cribbage and the casino. She loved buying oatmeal pies, wintergreen lifesavers and a yummy cupcake from Festival. She loved her family, but most especially loved being a grandma.

Georgia was loved by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Please join the Coffren family in a Celebration of Life on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 5:30pm with memories and stories of Georgia at 6:00pm. The celebration will be held at the Wildwood Station Pavilion, 1800 S Roddis Ave. Marshfield.

A memorial will be made in Georgia’s name at a later date.

The Coffren family would like to especially thank the staff of the Marshfield Medical Center SICU and the Palliative Care Team.
