COLBY – The ShowCase Players (SCP) wonky new comedy, “37 Postcards,” delivers an evening of laughter and maybe a few tears, and it does it all while serving as a vehicle for community service and awareness.

The price of admission to the show allows SCP to fund scholarships, and provides money for community service. In addition, the donation of a non-perishable food item for the local food pantry will discount $1 from the price of admission.

To promote literacy and encourage people to visit their local libraries, SCP is giving away two pairs of tickets through random drawings at local libraries. These libraries include: Abbotsford Public Library, Colby Community Library, Dorchester Public Library, Greenwood Public Library, Loyal Public Library, Owen Public Library, and Withee Public Library.

37 Postcards will be presented Feb. 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, and 18, at the Colby High School Theater. Show times for the Friday and Saturday shows have been changed this year to 7:30 p.m. The Sunday Matinees are at 2 p.m.

For more information on tickets and SCP, visit www.facebook.com/showcaseplayers.
