MARSHFIELD – Hospice volunteer Graham Olson was recently honored with Ascension at Home’s fourth- quarter HIGH FIVE Award.

Those nominated have consistently: applied exceptional interpersonal skills with patients, families, peers, or colleagues; demonstrated mutual trust, respect, and emotional support to all; made a significant difference and created a sense of community; generated enthusiasm and energy; and listened, with their ears as well as their heart.

Graham Olson has been a hospice volunteer since 2003. He serves four hours at the House of the Dove front desk every weekend and the hospice office during the week, filing and sending facility and patient reports to appropriate facilities. He has volunteered nearly 5000 hours in the past 14 years.
