Miller named Marshfield Development Services director
By Kris Leonhardt
MARSHFIELD – Marshfield native Josh Miller has been appointed to the position of Development Services for the city of Marshfield.
Miller is a graduate of Marshfield High School and the University of Wisconsin – River Falls, with a degree in Land Use Planning.
“Josh Miller came back to the city eight years ago,” said Marshfield Mayor Chris Meyer. “Josh has just done an excellent job. He came on board as a zoning administrator, originally, and since he was zoning administrator, he became city planner. Now, he is going to lead the entire department as the director of Development Services, and I think that he is an absolutely excellent fit for that job.
“He comes into the role with a very good understanding of the department, the employees, the processes. He is networked and well connected in the community.”
Miller had been serving in a dual role as the Marshfield City Planner and Interim Development Services director, since Jason Angell’s departure in December.
