Marshfield School Board Education Office

MARSHFIELD – There will be at least one new member of the Marshfield Board of Education this spring, as five people have declared their candidacies, running for three seats that are up for election.

The three available seats belong to Incumbents Frances Bohon and Mary Carney, as well as current School Board President Marlene Steuland, who is not seeking another term on the board.

Bohon and Carney have filed the necessary paperwork, along with three others who are running for a spot on the board.  They are Karen Schulman, Jodi Meyer, and Sam Steiner.

Because there are not more than six candidates, a primary will not be needed.
