Raymond L. Kreeger
Raymond L. Kreeger, 81, Arpin, died on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at his home in the Town of Richfield.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield, with Rev. Gary Holloway officiating. Burial will take place in St. James Cemetery, Vesper. The visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Wednesday and from 10:00 am until service time on Thursday at the funeral home.
Raymond was born on September 19, 1936 in Omaha, Nebraska, to Walter and Marie (Wheeler) Kreeger. He married Mabel Bennett on June 15, 1957 in New Lisbon. She died on October 20, 1980. He later married Anne Hall on July 4, 1984 in East Waterboro, ME. She died on June 17, 2004.
At the age of 16, Ray had been employed in construction work in Omaha. His family moved to the Finley area when he was 17 and he then worked at hardware stores. He became employed at Consolidated Papers Biron Division. He attended Mid State Technical School and then worked as a surveyor until becoming employed as supervisor of maintenance and housekeeping at Norwood Health Center from 1971 until his retirement in 1996.
He enjoyed the Packers and Badgers, watching his grandchildren and great grandchildren’s sports activities and traveling.
Ray is survived by his children, Wesley (Grace) Kreeger of Arpin, Wanda Kreeger of Jordan, MN, Bruce Kreeger (Lynn) of Houston, TX, Edward (Lynn) Kreeger of Anderson, TX. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great grandchildren Karen Kreeger and her children Gavin and Mason WhiteEagle; John (Codee) Kreeger; Kellie Werner; Jay Kreeger; Brad Kreeger; Vickie (Chrystal) Kreeger; Heidi (Joel Garrett) Kreeger and their children, Harmoney and Julette. He is further survived by a brother, Ronald Kreeger of Forrest City, NC and a sister, Rita Scott of Port Edwards.
He was predeceased by his parents, his wives, a brother, Walter Kreeger and a sister, Valerie Delaney.
