MARSHFIELD — The Tommy Ensemble is an elite group of high school performers chosen from the Northern Division of the Overture Center for the Arts’ Tommy Awards. Offered through The Grand in Wausau, high school age performers have an opportunity to work with other students and build their musical theater skills.

For the 12 spots — six male and six female — open to represent the Northern Division, three Marshfield High School students auditioned and were chosen to participate.

Junior Zachary Iniguez and seniors Tyler Meyer and Tyler Nanstad were selected for the program and will also be performing at the State Tommy Awards in Madison with the Overture for the Arts Tommy Performance Ensemble on June 10, 2018.

Members of the group were selected through auditions that tested their singing, acting, and dancing abilities.

Students chosen perform at various venues, including the Tommy Awards and Tommy Ensemble Cabaret in Madison as well as The Grand. The group will be directed by Marshall DeLonay.
