Ten years ago

Ryan Neville recently joined the Saint Joseph’s Hospital staff as rehabilitation services director. Neville was director of rehabilitation at Marietta Memorial Hospital in Marietta, Ohio, prior to coming to Saint Joseph’s Hospital.

Twenty-five years ago

Chili residents Marion and Mildred Lee recently observed their 60th wedding anniversary with family members. They were married Sept. 27, 1932, at the Evangelical Church parsonage in Chili.

Fifty years ago

Jack Hackman of the Marshfield Knights of Columbus presented a plaque to Columbus Catholic High School coach Walt Kroll during the annual Landing Day program held at Columbus Catholic High School Sunday night. Kroll was also given a check from the KC Council for filming Columbus football games.

Seventy-five years ago

Purdy Junior High School opened its 1942 football season by playing the Wisconsin Rapids freshmen to a 13-13 tie. Quarterback Wayne Tollefson scored both of Purdy’s touchdowns in the game.
