Ten years ago

Saralynne Mann recently received recognition for donating more than 100 hours through the Volunteen Program at Saint Joseph’s Hospital. She is the daughter of Sharon and Martin Mann of Marshfield.

Twenty-five years ago

About 2,700 Marshfield elementary students learned fire safety and prevention this week from Marshfield city firefighters. Firefighter James Jozwiak showed students at Immanuel Lutheran School how a firefighter puts on his or her fire suit on Thursday of Fire Prevention Week.

Fifty years ago

Celebrating its diamond anniversary on Sunday was the Ladies Aid Society of Immanuel Lutheran Church. Martha Kuehl was honored for being a member of the Society for the past 67 years.

Seventy-five years ago

Recognized as the new chairman of the Wood County War Price and Rationing Board was M.A. Hansen Sr. H.G. Hambright was named an alternate.
