Marshfield freshman football beats D.C. Everest

MARSHFIELD — The Marshfield freshman football team pulled out a 12-7 victory over D.C. Everest to improve to 6-1 this season.

Will Nikolai threw touchdown passes of 14 yards to Simon Slade and 55 yards to Matthew Donavan for the Tigers’ two scores.

Jaiger Halvorson, Damain Hains, and Justin Post led Marshfield in tackles, and Halvorson had an interception for the Tigers’ defense.

Marshfield hosts Pittsville in its season finale Monday at 4 p.m. at Marshfield High School.
