MARSHFIELD — The Chestnut Center for the Arts’ annual Lift Up the Arts event will be held on Oct. 14 from 6-11 p.m.

This year’s theme, “Rockin’ the Arts,” will celebrate 1950s music and culture. Poodle skirts, jeans and leather jackets, and other ‘50s-styled clothing are encouraged but not required.

Attendees can enjoy live music from the ’50s, hors d’oeuvres and dinner from West 14th Catering, and a cash bar. There will be live and silent auctions featuring locally made art, services from local businesses, vacations, private music performances, furniture, and more.

Tickets are limited, and early reservations are encouraged. The cost is $40 per person. Reserve tickets online at chestnutarts.org, by phone at 715-389-8999, or by emailing office@chestnutarts.org.
