Rockets move to 7-1

By Paul Lecker

Sports Reporter

MARSHFIELD — Hunter Luepke scored seven touchdowns, and the Spencer/Columbus football team rolled to a 54-0 win over Altoona on Friday night at Beell Stadium in Marshfield.

The homecoming game for Columbus Catholic High School was a rout from the start as the Rockets scored three touchdowns in the first quarter.

Spencer/Columbus is now 7-1 overall and in the Cloverbelt Conference. The game was the Rockets’ final conference game of the year. They will play a nonconference game at Glenwood City next Friday to wrap up their regular season.
