MARSHFIELD — Fashions on Main, a fashion show hosted by Rae Baxter’s Fashions, will showcase not only the fall clothing that is available but also the women that make up the Marshfield community.

Rae Baxter’s debuted its first solo fashion show in the spring of 2017. Owner Carol Knauf said that the business brought the show back due to the overwhelming response and requests for more.

“We are going to do (the shows) twice a year: spring and fall,” Knauf said.

Knauf said the part of the appeal of the show is the interaction between attendees and the local models that display the fashions.

“They walk around the tables, and people love that because they can talk to the models, ask them questions, and feel the fabric,” added Knauf.

Models featured in the show will include Anne Barlow, Grace Bauer, Rachel Bredl Hryendi, Marsha Kattre, Kathy Kopacz, Mary Leick, Jan Rasmussen, Pat Schumitsch, and Karen Kieffer and her service dog, Sam.

For the spring show, Knauf asked Kieffer to model along with Sam so she could highlight the use of a diabetic service dog.

“Guess who was the hit of the show?” inquired Knauf.

The fashion show will take place Oct. 7 at the Holiday Inn Conference Center’s Laird Room. A mimosa brunch will begin at 10 a.m., and the fashion show starts at 11 a.m. Fashions on display with range from size 2 to size 3X.

Seating is limited to 50. Tickets are $20 and may be purchased at Rae Baxter’s Fashions, 345 S. Central Ave. in Marshfield.
