MARSHFIELD — Local residents can now recycle to help fight local childhood hunger. Place aluminum cans in the yellow trailer located in the parking lot of Hiller’s True Value, and they will be used to help fund the Marshfield Area United Way’s Nutrition On Weekends (NOW) program.

In 2013, its formative year, NOW served 29 children in the Marshfield School District. Today the program serves 286 children in Marshfield and surrounding districts.

Aluminum can donations may be placed in the trailer during Hiller’s business hours: from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Saturdays, and 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Sundays.
