BLACK RIVER FALLS — Four Marshfield boys placed in top 10 as the Tigers took the team title at the Black River Falls Cross Country Invitational on Tuesday.

Jordan Dzikowich was third in 17:26.8, and teammate Joseph McKee was fourth in 17:29.2 to lift the Tigers to the team win with 36 points, 11 better than second-place Durand.

Addison Hill was eighth (17:45.9), Joshua McKee took 10th (18:00.6), and Jared Oemig was 11th in 18:05.5 for Marshfield.

Marshfield senior Sophia Schrodi continued her late-season surge, placing third in 21:25.0 in the girls race. Dehlia Kilty also finished 10th for the Tigers in 22:36.8 as Marshfield came in third in the team standings behind Mauston and West Salem.

“We were glad to get to Black River and get some hills in,” Marshfield coach Dan Akin said. “This is, flat out, a very tough course at Skyline Golf Course. This was competition we haven’t seen, and it was a very nice meet to attend.”

Marshfield will compete Saturday at the Wisconsin Rapids Invitational at the Ridges Golf Course, home of the WIAA State Cross Country Meet on Oct. 28.
