Featured MAPS pet of the week: Samson

By Vicki Riedel

I am Samson, and I had lived under a house with wheels since I was a baby. One day when I was really hungry, I went into a cage that had food in it, and I could not get out. Then I got put into a big van and went for a ride and was put in another cage in a place that I never saw before. I was really scared.
Then some people gave me some food and a blanket and tried to touch me, but they scared me, so I hissed at them. That is what my mom told me to do, but now I like people, and I am ready to be adopted. Please take me home so I can know what it is like to live inside a house and not under one.
