PITTSVILLE — Carl, Paul, and Matt Lippert will be hosting a pasture walk at Grass Ridge Farm on Sept. 28 at 1 p.m. Grass Ridge Farm is located at 5882 County Road E, Pittsville, WI 54466. The event is free, and preregistration is not required. Discussion will be open ended but plans to cover grazing of dairy heifers and dry cows, grazing poorly drained soils, and improved cattle lanes.

The family-owned Grass Ridge Farm has a milking herd of 580 head primarily consisting of Holsteins and about 10 percent Jersey. The herd is managed for high production.
