Stratford homecoming football game cancelled due to forfeit from Peshtigo

Tigers’ homecoming festivities moved to first week in October

STRATFORD — Stratford’s homecoming football game scheduled for Saturday has been cancelled.
The Tigers (3-1) were to host Peshtigo (2-2) in a nonconference game at noon on Saturday at Tiger Stadium. Peshtigo, however, has forfeited the game. The reason for the forfeit was not disclosed.
Stratford has moved its homecoming festivities to the week of Oct. 1-7 and will now play its homecoming game on Friday, Oct. 6, against Marathon.
