Monday, Sept. 4
Marshfield man arrested for disorderly conduct-domestic related
Police responded at 5:28 p.m. to a report of a disturbance occurring at a residence on the 2200 block of S. Maple Ave. A 30-year-old Marshfield man was arrested for disorderly conduct-domestic related. Charges will be requested through the Wood County district attorney’s office.
Tuesday, Sept. 5
Woman taken into custody on probation hold
Police took a 36-year-old Marshfield woman into custody for a probation hold. She was transported to the Marshfield Police Department for booking and later to Wood County Jail.
Thursday, Sept. 7
Police locate drug items in vehicle search
A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle on the 1100 block of W. Upham St. at 4:02 p.m. K-9 H indicated to the presence of a controlled substance coming from the vehicle. Police searched the vehicle and located numerous drug items.
A 24-year-old Marshfield man was arrested for possession of marijuana, methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia. He was transported to the Marshfield Police Department for booking and then to Wood County Jail.
Marshfield woman violates probation
Police arrested a 22-year-old Marshfield woman for violating the terms of her probation. She was booked at the Marshfield Police Department and then transported to Wood County Jail.
Friday, Sept. 8
Woman allegedly strikes man
Police responded at 10:27 p.m. to a report that a 27-year-old Marshfield woman had struck a man in the face several times. The woman was taken into custody for disorderly conduct, posted bond, and was released. Charges for disorderly conduct will be sent to the Wood County DA’s office.
Police perform warrant two pickups
Police arrested a woman for a Marshfield Police Department warrant for failing to provide a DNA sample subsequent to a criminal conviction. She was transported to the Marshfield Police Department, booked, and released upon collection of the DNA sample.
Police arrested a 37-year-old Marshfield man on a valid Department of Corrections warrant. He was transported to the Marshfield Police Department, where he was booked, and later taken to Wood County Jail.
Saturday, Sept. 9
Purse reported stolen from vehicle on Central Avenue
An Edgar woman reported that her purse was stolen while she had been on the 1600 block of N. Central Ave. between 7:45 a.m. and 1 p.m. The purse was in the front seat of her vehicle and covered by jackets.
There are no known suspects at this time.
Sunday, Sept. 10
Battery, recklessly endangering safety, CDTP, burglary charges requested
A Marshfield man called 911 at 12:13 a.m. to report that his ex-boyfriend kicked in his door and attacked him. The 21-year-old suspect struck, kicked, and hit the victim numerous times using items within the house. At one point the suspect was armed with a hammer and knife.
The suspect damaged the victim’s residence after he managed to run outside and call 911. Damages were estimated at $2,600. The suspect made a self-inflicted knife wound to his hand and then left the area on foot.
The victim was taken to the emergency room for his injuries. The suspect was later taken into custody at the ER when he arrived for treatment for his injured hand.
Police took the suspect to the Marshfield Police Department for booking and then transported him to Wood County Jail on charges of battery, recklessly endangering safety, criminal damage to property, and burglary, all with the domestic abuse modifier. Charges were referred to the DA’s office.
Man jailed on multiple warrants
Police took a 32-year-old man into custody for three Wood County warrants with a total bond amount of $877.50. The man was unable to post bond and was transported to Wood County Jail.
