Rockets host Loyal on Thursday

By Paul Lecker

Sports Reporter

RIB LAKE — The Spencer volleyball team suffered a 3-0 loss to Rib Lake in a nonconference match Monday at Rib Lake High School.

Rib Lake won the match 25-8, 25-14, 25-14. Spencer is now 4-13 in matches this season.

Chloe Drews had three kills, and Sadie Mercier had 11 digs and nine assists for Spencer, which hosts Loyal in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division match on Thursday.

“We just looked tired and uninspired,” Spencer coach Buff Heller said. “Their defense was incredible, but we helped them with way too may unforced errors.”
