Joseph W. Fuchs, 67, Marshfield, died unexpectedly on Saturday, September 9, 2017 in the Emergency Room of Marshfield Medical Center.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at St. John’s Catholic Church, Marshfield, with Rev. Samuel Martin officiating. Burial will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. The visitation will be held from 5:30 pm until 7:30 pm on Tuesday at Rembs Funeral Home and from 9:30 am until service time on Wednesday at St. John’s Catholic Church.

Joseph was born on March 23, 1950 in Marshfield, to Joseph V. and Pauline (Zinthefer) Fuchs and was a 1968 graduate of Columbus High School, Marshfield. He married Kathy J. Krotzman on November 13, 1982 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Hewitt.

Joe farmed on the family farm in the Town of Auburndale his entire life. He enjoyed bowling, watching all sports and political science. Joe’s greatest passion was his love for cooperative business. He served a total of 29 years with Marshfield Co-op, Central Wisconsin Co-op, and Pro Vision Partners. With the last 16 years as serving as Board Chairman.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy and their son Chris Fuchs of Marshfield. He is also survived by his mother, Pauline Fuchs of Marshfield. He is further survived by his mother-in-law, Arlene Krotzman and brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Linda Krotzman of Sun Prairie.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph and his father-in-law, Ken Krotzman.

The family will designate a memorial at a later date.
