Blue Heron BrewPub holding Oktoberfest celebration Sept. 9

Event proceeds will go to ODC

MARSHFIELD — Oktoberfest returns to the Blue Heron BrewPub on Sept. 9. Opportunity Development Centers (ODC) is the beneficiary of this event, and 100 percent of Oktoberfest profits will be given to support ODC’s mission to help adults with disabilities to fulfill their personal and professional goals.

The event will begin at 9 a.m. with an Oktoberfest Zoo-Fit produced by Total Body Fitness with obstacle-type workouts. Holiday Inn has put together a baggo tournament and will have a live band starting at 1:30 p.m. Following their band, joe g. will be playing on the main stage at the BrewPub from 4-6 p.m. before featured band Boogie and the Yo-yo’z takes the stage at 7 p.m. There will be a beer trailer featuring the Blue Heron BrewPub Oktoberfest beer as well as some domestic selections.

Additionally, there will be an after party at the Oven Above the Pub with acoustic music featuring joe g. as well as downstairs at the BrewPub featuring a local band from 10 p.m. to midnight.
