Mark F. Pryer, 63, Marshfield, died peacefully with his loving wife and family by his side on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Colonial Center, Colby.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 9:00 am on Saturday until service time.

Mark was born on June 7, 1954 in Baraboo, to Jack and Marion (Seefeld) Pryer and was a graduate of Spencer High School. He married Cindy R. Panzer on July 23, 2005 in Spencer, Wisconsin.

After his education, he began working at Packaging Corporation of America in Colby where he was employed for over 40 years until he retired as scheduling manager due to his illness.

Mark had a passion for riding his motorcycle and liked photographing sunsets and nature. He also was an avid fisherman and hunter and looked forward to get-togethers and family Packer parties. He had a love for cats, especially his buddy “Gus”.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy and children, Heather (fiancé – Jeremy Houle), Jason (Kaylle) Widmann, Judd (Tiffany) Widmann and Jake (Brittany) Widmann. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, Noelle, Brayden, Crosby, Reese, Ashur, Cameron and Sully. Mark was the epitome of a loving grandfather and lit up in the presence of his grandkids. He is further survived by a sister, Kathy (Bob) Strunz and a brother, Randy Pryer (Doreen).

He was predeceased by his parents.

The family wishes to thank everyone who took such great care of Mark at Colonial Center in Colby and the wonderful staff from St. Croix Hospice. I will never forget any of you. I know how much you all loved Mark and helped me get through all of this. God bless Jocelyn, Roger, Casey, Genene, Adam and Chaplain Duane.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the family who will be honoring Mark in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk under Team Pryer.

Condolences may be sent online to www.rembsfh.com
