Marion Louise Heller Spindler

Marion Louise Heller Spindler, 96, Stratford, died on Monday, September 4, 2017 at Marshfield Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Ebenezer United Church of Christ, Town of Cleveland, Marathon County, where the visitation will be from 9:00 am on Saturday until service time. Burial will take place in the church cemetery. Sauter / Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Marion was born February 24, 1921 in Stratford, to Henry and Louise (Hoesley) Heller.

She was united in marriage to Arnold H. Spindler on May 31, 1941 at Ebenezer United Church of Christ. He died on November 20, 2000. Marion and her husband farmed in the Town of Cleveland from 1942 until 2000.

Marion is survived by three sons, Thomas (Vickie) Spindler, Champlin, MN, Leslie (Sandy) Spindler, Appleton, WI, Charles (Linda) Spindler, Stratford, WI; one daughter, Jean (Dan) Jones, Campbellsport, WI; daughter-in-law, Debbie Broschardt, Wisconsin Rapids, Wi; and sister-in-law Iola Doescher, Wausau WI; 25 grandchildren, 52 great grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren.

Marion was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Henry Spindler, on November 20th, 2000 and son, Lyle Spindler on November 25, 1999.  Marion was also preceded in death by her four brothers, Gilbert, Melvin, Anton, and William Heller and her five sisters, Mabel Olm Schuester, Hazel Graveen, Margaret Schwarze, Irene Galbraith, and Armella Gordee.

The family will designate a memorial in Marion’s name at a later date.
