Tigers improve to 2-1

STRATFORD — Stratford scored early and often as it routed Chequamegon 70-6 in its Marawood Conference football opener Friday night at Tiger Stadium.

The Tigers improve to 2-1 overall and 1-0 in the conference while Chequamegon remains winless at 0-3 and 0-1 in the Marawood.

Stratford hosts Tomahawk in another Marawood game Sept. 8 at Tiger Stadium beginning at 7 p.m.
