Auburndale volleyball wins two of three at Greenwood Quad

Apaches rack up 105 digs in three matches

GREENWOOD — The Auburndale volleyball team finished 2-1 at the Greenwood Quadrangular on Thursday at Greenwood High School.

Auburndale defeated Alma Center and Greenwood and lost to Stanley-Boyd.

Auburndale had a strong defensive night with 105 digs in the three matches. Maggie Willfahrt led the way with 19 digs, Mackenzie Raab added 16, Rachael Bolder and Alexis Soppe each had 15, and Teryn Lau had 14.

Hannah Bolder had 17 kills, Raab recorded 14 kills and 26 assists, and setter Rachael Bolder picked up 28 assists.

Auburndale opens Marawood Conference South Division action Tuesday at Wausau Newman Catholic.
