MARSHFIELD — The Leadership Marshfield Council of the Marshfield Area Chamber Foundation recently announced that 25 individuals have been selected to participate in the 2017-2018 Leadership Marshfield program.

The program kicks off with a two-day retreat scheduled for Sept. 20-21. Subsequent monthly sessions will focus on education, quality of life, health needs and issues, local government, public safety, and business and economic development.

The purpose of the program is to develop current and potential leaders in the community and to provide training that will enhance their ability to become more effective business and community leaders through networking and team building. More than 625 individuals have graduated from this program during the past 25 years.
