Marshfield girls tennis wins one of three matches at home quad
Schultz wins two singles matches for Tigers

MARSHFIELD — The Marshfield girls tennis team finished 1-2 at its home quadrangular on Tuesday at Boson Courts.
The Tigers defeated D.C. Everest 6-1 and lost to La Crosse Central 5-2 and Menomonie 7-0.
Marshfield won all four singles matches and two doubles matches against Everest. Ashley Schultz won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 1; Dara Stichert cruised 6-4, 6-2 at No. 2; Jebina Devadas rolled 6-2, 6-0 at No. 3; and Olivia Bluhm won 6-0, 6-3 at No. 4 to lead the Tigers to the sweep at singles.
Marshfield’s No. 1 doubles team of Emily Weis and Lauren Weigel won 6-1, 6-1, and the No. 3 team of Krupa Patel and Emma Michalek won 6-1, 6-0.
Schultz won 6-0, 6-1 at No. 1 singles, and Patel and Michalek won in a tiebreaker at No. 3 doubles 6-1, 4-6, (10-7) for the Tigers’ two wins against La Crosse Central.
Marshfield will compete at the Wausau West Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
