Marshfield Police Department participating in Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over safety campaign
By Rick Gramza

MARSHFIELD — As part of the national Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over safety campaign starting Aug. 18, the Marshfield Police Department will concentrate enforcement efforts on impaired driving through the Labor Day holiday. The Marshfield Police Department joins law enforcement and highway safety agencies across the nation to remove impaired drivers from roadways and save lives.
And if that is not enough of a deterrent, the average first offense drunk driving arrest costs roughly $10,000, which includes raised insurance rates.
To arrive alive, always:
—Drive sober. Never drive impaired.
—Buckle up every time.
—If you do drink, plan ahead. Designate a sober driver, or use a ride service.
