Chestnut Center to exhibit work of Ines Krolo
For Hub City Times
MARSHFIELD — The Chestnut Center for the Arts will present a visual arts exhibit that explores the odd and imperfect with Ines Krolo: Captured Moments, which runs from Aug. 11 – Sept. 15. Meet the artist and learn more about her work at the opening reception from 7-8:30 p.m. on Aug. 11.
“I paint because I thoroughly enjoy the whole creative process: an idea, frustrating but so rewarding execution — as much as, if not even more, the end result, the painting itself. It enriches my life. It makes me happy,” Krolo said.
Krolo was trained as a medical doctor in Croatia and now resides in Marshfield. She said she strives to push her limits and go into uncharted territory.
Captured Moments will be free and open to the public at the Chestnut Center, 208 S. Chestnut Ave. For more information call 715-389-8999 or visit chestnutarts.org.
