Upcoming Continuing Education offerings include Freezer Meals, youth camps

MARSHFIELD — Learn how to plan and prepare meals in advance to accommodate busy schedules in the upcoming Freezer Meals course July 25, 5:30-7 p.m. The class will cover which foods can be frozen, how to properly freeze foods, and how long they last. Participants will take home numerous recipes and one freezer meal to feed a family of four. UW-Extension Family Living Educator Sarah Siegel will be the instructor.
Two sessions of Dance Camp & Craft for ages 4-8 will be offered on July 19 and August 16. Each course will explore the basic elements of jazz, ballet, and modern dance. Participants will make a special craft to pair with their dance theme and perform a short dance routine following the class. The cost for each session is $15.
Budding artists entering grades three through five may take part in a four-day Art Camp held July 24-27. Art instructors will provide opportunities to explore various mediums, and participants will create a different take-home project each day while learning new techniques and enhancing artistic ability. A registration fee of $95 includes snacks and all art supplies.
