Dog bites Wisconsin Rapids child

Wood County Dispatch received a report that a 2-year-old Wisconsin Rapids boy was bitten by a dog at a park in Marshfield some time between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. on June 17. Marshfield police contacted the child’s father, who said that the child was with his mother and her grandparents when a dog on a leash came up and bit him on the wrist and ankle, breaking the skin on the wrist.
